I graduated from Iowa State University in May of 2000, but the majority of my education has been hands on at the farm with my top teachers being my Grandpa and Dad.  All thoughts on these pages are mine and might not be agreed on by anyone.  One of the great things about farming is that almost any tactic can be made to work.  We all need to prioritize what is important to us in the form of inputs, investment, labor, goals, and return (hopefully profitable).  The thoughts here are biased towards what I feel is important and what has worked for me.  Thanks for reading!  Feel free to e-mail me and agree, or explain to me why I am wrong.  Or if you have any other topic you would like me to rant on just drop me a line.  I enjoy farming and raising cattle, and I try to always keep an open mind and see if I can adapt any new practices to improve our operation.
